WLP530 White Labs Abbey Ale Liquid Yeast
WLP530 White Labs Abbey Ale Liquid Yeast is used to produce traditional Belgian style beers. Similar to WLP500, but is less fruity and more alcohol tolerant (up to 15% ABV). Excellent yeast for high gravity beers, Belgian ales, dubbels and trippels.
Best For: Belgian Trappist Ale, Spiced Ale, Trippel, Dubbel, Grand Cru
Notes: Used in two of six remaining Trappist breweries. Distinctive plum and fruitiness. Good for high gravity beers.
