Dried rice syrup solids, used an an adjunct in brewing. Rice extract provides fermentable sugar, but has a relatively light, neutral flavor. Use it in beers when you want to increase the alcohol level but not add the residual sweetness that barley malt extract can impart.
Adds gravity without impacting color or flavor. Lightens body and dries the finish. Use up to 15% for American or Japanese-style light lagers.
